Jesus goes to the Temple

After entering into Jerusalem on a donkey and the crowds sang Hosanna, Jesus travelled to the temple.

Jesus went to the temple - a place of prayer where peopel came to pray....

When he entered the temple on this day he say that it was being used by buyers and sellers as a market place.

Jesus was very annoyed. He was so annoyed that he turned over the tables of the people who were exchanging money for the buyers and sellers. Jesus also turned over the stools of the people who were selling pigeons. All the people stopped what they were doing. 

Jesus spoke to all the people and said....

"It is written in the scriptures that God said,

My Temple will be called a house of prayer."

Then he said, "But you are making it a hide-out for thieves".
