Science

Science allows students to explore the environment in which they live.

Studying science provides students with a strong foundation in scientific concepts and inquiry skills. All Science events and excursions are designed to enhance student understanding and improve student engagement.

Year 7 and 8 Science allows students to be introduced to a number of different branches of   Science whilst giving them the chance to participate in a range of exciting practical activities.

Highlights of junior Science includes student events such as the rocket competition, the egg drop extravaganza and Melbourne Zoo excursion.

These events are designed to allow scientific ideas to be formulated whilst promoting teamwork and    higher order thinking skills.
