Term 1 has been defined by strong momentum across the Collegiate community. From the very beginning of the year, there has been a clear sense of energy, connection and shared purpose.
This was evident at the Principal’s Welcome held in the Performing Arts Centre: a celebration of community that also offered a glimpse into the year ahead. A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the 2026 Collegiate Musical, Matilda The Musical Jr., alongside a series of outstanding student performances that showcased the depth of talent across our Performing Arts program. With more than 100 students auditioning, anticipation is already building for what promises to be a remarkable production in Term 3.

This sense of connection continued at the Collegiate Fair, held at the Anglesea Campus, which was a vibrant and generous expression of community spirit. Led by our dedicated Parents and Friends Committee, and supported by families, staff and students, the Fair was a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when our community comes together with a shared purpose.

Together, these moments reflect more than just a busy start to the year. They speak to our broader commitment to connection, as outlined in the Strategic Plan 2026–2030, and to the Year 12 theme of 'Journey through Joy'. Our student leaders have embraced this theme with intention, highlighting the importance of contribution, generosity and belonging in building a thriving learning community.
We look forward to many more opportunities throughout the year to strengthen these connections and celebrate all that it means to be part of Collegiate.
