Classroom Expectations: Respect, Responsibility and Aspire

As we begin a new school year, it’s important to revisit and reinforce our agreed classroom expectations to ensure every student has the opportunity to learn and succeed.

In the classroom, this means:

• Taking turns when speaking
• Listening to others respectfully
• Being prepared and ready for learning
• Always having a go, even when learning feels challenging

Respect means listening to others and treating others with kindness.

Responsibility means being prepared, following agreed rules and taking ownership of our actions.

Aspire encourages us to always give our best effort and keep trying, even when things get challenging.

By remembering these expectations, we create a classroom environment where all students feel respected, supported and motivated to succeed. Let’s work together to make this a great term of learning!
