From the Principal

Dear Parents,

Confirmation

I am delighted to share with you that our Confirmation candidates had a moving and special evening last Friday at St Patrick's Cathedral.  This sacrament was celebrated with a large congregation of family and friends in our magnificent cathedral.  The Reverend Bishop Fr Thinh Xuan Nguyen confirmed the candidates (listed below).  Congratulations to the 60 students from the three parishes of St Christopher's, Holy Xavier (inc Emmaus) and Holy Family.  A special congratulations to our very own students: Brian Ho, Charlotte Archibald, Elisha Lai, Sophie Desperles, Athia Guo, Raphaella Reuben, Evana D Silva, David Dela Cruz, David Fernando, Mason de Jonk and Naomi Thomas from St Christopher's who prepared and engaged with the process to confirm their faith and further develop their spiritual growth within the Catholic tradition.

MACSSIS - please complete

The MACS School Improvement Survey is now open for families to complete.  Recently you were sent a family PIN code and information to access the survey.  You can see an introductory video here and should you have any questions about completing the survey, please contact the office.

Next year is a review year for our school, so it is very helpful and important for us to have a good percentage of families complete the survey.  The survey is open until Friday September 19.

Book Week Parade

Thank you to all our students who did a wonderful job of dressing as their favourite characters for the Book Week Parade.  There were many amazing costumes and I would like to thank all the parents who assisted with the preparation of their children for the day.  If you were lucky enough to attend the parade we hope you enjoyed it.  If not there are some photos in this edition of the newsletter for you to enjoy and I know teachers have also shared some on Dojo.

Father's Day Stall

A reminder that we have the Father's Day stall tomorrow morning for the students.  On Friday we are inviting dads to pop in for a cuppa after drop off to chat and connect with other dads and if possible, join us for the Father's Day Mass in St Christopher's church at 9.15am.  You can see further details here.
