The Digital Gaming Ban Has Started Off Strong – Thank You!
A huge thank you to everyone who has embraced the digital gaming ban so positively. It’s been fantastic to see so many of you getting involved, connecting with others, and helping to build a more engaging and inclusive environment during recess and lunchtime in Mason House and other area's of the College.
Your support has made a big difference already. We’re seeing more conversations, more laughter, and more creativity during breaks – exactly what this initiative is all about!
Just a few important reminders to help things continue running smoothly:
H3 is our dedicated Homework Hub – a quiet, focused space for anyone who wants to catch up on work, read, or take a break from the noise.
H6 and H7 are now our Game Collaboration Areas – these spaces are open for board games, card games, puzzles, colouring and other group activities that help foster interaction in a relaxed setting.
We want to make sure Mason House is a place where everyone feels welcome and included, with something for everyone to enjoy. If there are particular games, activities, or resources you’d like to see available…we’d love to hear from you!
Whether you’ve got an idea for a new game, a fun group activity, or even something small that could help improve the space—we’re all ears. Please feel free to:

Middle School Celebration Assemblies
During the first week of school, the Year 7 and 8 cohorts each ran an assembly to celebrate the achievements and successes of Semester 1. This included looking at Green Posts, 100% Attendance and Language & Sport Achievements.
