Learning Enrichment Expo is Next Week!
If you're a follower of the school Facebook page you would definitely know that our eagerly anticipated Learning Enrichment Expo is next week! (If not, jump on over to our page and give us a like, all the cool stuff happens there!)
Join us for an afternoon designed to connect, inform, and inspire on Wednesday 13 August from 2.30pm.
1st Place for Flynn!
Flynn was selected as one of 9 Gymnasts to represent South Australia and compete in the Special Olympic Championship, held at the Logan Metro Sports and Events Centre in Queensland on the 27th of July. This was a national competition, and Flynn had trained extensively over the past year in specific Men's Artistic Gymnastics routines for each 6 apparatus - floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, high bar, and parallel bars.
Flynn achieved a first place 'All Around' individual score, with 3 gold and 3 silver medals, and was presented with a 1st place trophy. Flynn worked incredibly hard for this competition, and we are all extremely proud of him - Well done Flynn!
Men's Breakfast Opportunity
Good Shepherd Church is hosting a Men's breakfast on Saturday the 30th of August at 8am at Lutheran Homes Hope Valley. Come along for fellowship with other blokes, and hear Guest speaker Chris Jaensch, share his testimony and hopefully a few tunes! Enter from grand Junction rd, follow the road to the café.
