Parent Information

Thank you

Thank you to the many volunteers around our community.  Throughout the year there are a large number of people who support the learning and connection in our community. From the Men 'n' Minors team, the parents and friends who coordinate the Mother's and Father's day stalls, our School Board and subgroups, to the parents who support excursions ... thank you for your time, effort and passion.

It is a blessing to see you at work supporting our learners, families and community in so many different ways ... so thank you!

Book Week 2025

"Book an Adventure"

Book Week is less than two weeks away. Our Book Week Parade will be happening on Monday week 5, the 18th of August at 8.45-9.15am.

Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character or to suit the theme of ‘Book an Adventure’.

If students are dressing up as a book character, we ask that they also have a copy of the book that their character appears in, or a copy of the front cover of the book.

Please don’t feel compelled to buy a costume, you can use items that you may already have or try your local op shop.

You can also find some great simple ideas online at sites like Pinterest.

There is also an opportunity to make a voluntary gold coin donation to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

If you would like to contribute, bring a gold coin on Monday Book Parade Day.

There will also be a designated area outside for parents to come and watch if you are able.

Father's Day Stall

The Fathers’ Day Stall is fast approaching and will be held in Week 6 this year, on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th August. This is earlier than previous years. It will be a week and a bit before Fathers’ Day due to the special Junior Primary Musical being held in Week 7, just prior to Fathers’ Day.

The planning team are now looking for volunteers for the stall.

If you're keen to help, we are looking for:

  • People to volunteer and serve at the stall.

Dates of the stall are:

Wed August 27th 1105am – 3pm (with lunch break)

Thurs August 28th 850am – 2pm (with morning tea and lunch break)

Please consider when you will be able to help and take note of the time slots on the attached volunteer form which will also be sent home in blue bags soon with the eldest child of each family. Please return this form if you’d like to volunteer, thank you.

Please take note that you will need to have completed all the volunteer requirements for school to be part of this special event.

We are now happily collecting any home-made donations to sell too for the Fathers’ Day Stall.

Please have these dropped off to school Wednesday Week 5 and please communicate prior to the event with what you hope to donate, to Rachael Richards - r_haaren@hotmail.com

Thank you for your contribution, we look forward to another successful Father's Day Stall event!
