Choose To Be The Goodie 

"There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife." - 1 Kings 21:25

In lots of Disney movies, there’s a “baddie” who wants something that isn’t theirs - like Scar in The Lion King, Ursula in The Little Mermaid, or Prince Hans in Frozen. They’re selfish, and they hurt others to get what they want.

In the Bible, King Ahab and Queen Jezebel acted just like that. They took something that wasn’t theirs, and people got hurt.

"For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind." - James 3:16

But Jesus gives us a better way:

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." - Philippians 2:3

Jesus showed us the best example - He put others first, acted with kindness, and lived with love. This week, choose to be the goodie in your story, not the baddie!
