Free Parent Workshops

Tuning in to Teens is a free 6-week online program that helps parents and carers of adolescents better understand and respond to their teen’s emotional world.

You’ll explore how to manage tricky emotions, improve communication and support your teen’s emotional development and behaviour in positive ways.

 

STARTING - 31st July

Every Thursday for 6 weeks.

6:30pm - 8:30pm


Eye Glasses Program

Low cost eye glasses program for young people and adults.

 

There is a program called the Victorian Eyecare Service that can assist with the provision of low cost eye glasses.

Glasses under this scheme may be available for people who meet one or more of the following criteria:

· Holder of a current Health Care Card for at least 6 months, or are listed on the Health Care Card as a dependent

· Holder of a current Pensioner Concession Card

· Holder of a current Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Gold Card

· Children with Child Protection involvement for their care, such as Out of Home Care

· People from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds (a further subsidy combines with the VES for the Victorian Aboriginal Spectacles Subsidy Scheme)

· Refugees and/or Asylum Seekers
