PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

KTHS Steps Up for a Hair-Raising Cause - Shave for a Cure Fundraiser Smashes Goal:
This week students and staff rallied together for the annual Shave for a Cure fundraiser. This event was more than just clippers and courage; it was a powerful show for those affected by cancer, and our community delivered in style.
Four students led the charge, choosing to shave their heads in front of a packed assembly crowd.
Stealing the spotlight, Ms Gloster made an unforgettable contribution—donating not just her time, but her beautiful long locks to the cause. Her transformation was met with cheers from students and staff alike, showing the true spirit of giving.
Then came Chaplain Mr Powers, who turned heads with his distinctive new ‘skullet’ haircut that was certainly different.
And true to his word, Principal Mr Rogers honoured the challenge: once the target of over $2000 was met, off came his hair.
Thank you to everyone who donated, cheered, clipped, or had their hair coloured. You’ve made a difference—one haircut at a time.

To Access Continuous Assessment Rubrics and Feedback via the Parent Portal
To support this new approach, detailed assessment rubrics and teacher feedback are now available to parents through the Parent Portal. To view your child’s feedback:
- Log into the Parent Portal as usual.
- On the bottom right-hand side using the purple tab, click ‘Tasks & Assignments Completed
- Click ‘Feedback’ on the task you wish to view – this will take you to the assessment rubric for that task, including your child’s performance and teacher comments.
We encourage families to take the time to read through the report together and discuss both the highlights and areas for further growth. If you have any questions or would like to follow up on any part of the report, please don’t hesitate to contact the relevant classroom teacher or Year Level Coordinator.
Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education.
