Class News

A couple of very busy weeks in the Class area with camps, excursions, assessments, removal of classrooms and a whole lot of learning!

Universities Roadshow: representatives from all WA universities will be visiting us on Thursday to talk about pathways for both ATAR and General students - there are so many options available so it's worth having a listen and asking a few questions!

Year 12 ESTs: this week, we had our English and Mathematics ESTs for our General courses. We were so excited to see the context of the statewide paper for maths...cropping trials!  The whole cohort sat the assessment in the Rec Centre, which can be quite daunting. They are to be commended on their efforts and consideration to others during each session. Next week is Plant/Animal on Tuesday and PE Studies on Wednesday - you've got this!

ATAR Exams: these are fast approaching in Weeks 6 and 7.  Details have been emailed out to all students and their parents.  Please contact your teacher or Mrs Aynsley if you have any further questions.

Netball Fever Cup

We had 3 male, and 2 female teams compete in the Wheatbelt Fever Cup in Northam last week.

The students all showed incredible sportsmanship both on and off the court; helping to umpire, score, and fill in where needed.

Although we didn’t make the finals, all teams were extremely competitive in their division. It was amazing to see such numbers in the Boys Open Division, as a College I believe we are lucky to have such enthusiastic students, who are willing to participate in any sport and take up new opportunities presented to them.

Congratulations and thank you to all involved in the day, it was a great success!
