Winter warmth and uniforms

As the weather gets a bit chillier, please make sure your student has warm clothes and bedlinen. We are having cosy fires, hot soup and toasties in Resi over the weekends but there is now the need for track pants and hoodies to make an appearance.

Parents, please have a discussion with your child(ren) regarding their uniform and shoes as many are being left at home and students are coming to school not prepared with correct uniform or shoes.

Many students are in need of new uniforms, particularly for winter. Please check that your child has the correct pants, shirts and jumpers, and soon, the coats and beanies will be needed.

Student Council and our Special Dinners

A big thank you to our Student Councillors who have now hosted two special dinners this term. Our annual 'Under the Sea' theme was amazing with colourful fish, jelly fish, tortoises, surfers, fishermen and women and deep-sea divers gracing the dining hall.

On Monday, Jake Bestry introduced our 'Do It for Dolly' special dinner where we raise money for 'Dolly's Dream'. We are reminded that kindness matters and to say #NOWAYTO BULLYING. We discussed the importance of respect for all people. This includes students to each other, to parents and other adults that they come in contact with, such as teachers, bosses and colleagues.

Day Students

Just a reminder that day students are not to be in boarders' rooms. The dorm common rooms are open for day students and boarders to mingle during the recess and lunch breaks, otherwise, the Rec Centre has two break-out areas as well as basketball and volleyball practice.
