National Road Safety Week (5-12 May) is an initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways Group, partnering road safety organisations and government to highlight the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.
Every year, more than 1200 people are killed and 44,000 seriously injured on Australian roads.
In 2024, WA has seen 63 road fatalities, 38 of those in a regional area. National Road Safety Week is a time for us to remember those people who have experienced trauma on our roads. We urge communities to come together and make their pledge to ensure the roads are safe for everyone. To drive so others survive.
The Cunderdin Medical Practice are offering our students scheduled flu clinics to administer flu vaccinations. There is no cost required to receive a flu shot during the clinic. Students wanting to participate will be transported by the College to the Medical Practice.
Permission letters have been distributed to families and is also available below.
ATAR students have been allocated the second week of the clinic to avoid Semester One examinations. Forms are due back to the College by 14 May 2024.
