Grade 2 Area

This term in Discovery, Grade 2 has been learning about 'What a load of Rubbish!'

We have been finding out about the 5R's- Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot (composting) and researching about our chosen 'R'.

We have started 6 worm farms for the school with over 12 000 worms! To help feed the worms we have been investigating what worms like to eat, and have been collecting food scraps from our lunches and feeding them to the worms. We created posters to share with the school about what the worms can & can not eat, so we can start collecting scraps from the other grades too.
