Beanie For Brain Cancer
Beanie For Brain Cancer

Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in children and adults aged under 40 in Australia, yet alarmingly very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how it is treated.

That’s why we need your help. Every dollar helps in the fight against brain cancer. Your donation will go towards vital research to improve patient treatments and hopefully, find a cure one day.

WHEN? Friday 28th June (Last day of term 2)

WHAT? Wear a beanie & bring a GOLD coin donation!

Every dollar raised helps in the fight against brain cancer!  And, hopefully, find a cure one day.

DURING RECESS: Pin the Pom Pom on the beanie -

$1 per go.  JSC students will run this activity during recess on Friday.

THROUGHOUT THE WEEK:

"Guess the number of lollies in the jar" competition - $1 per guess

This competition will run all week. JSC students will take guesses each recess throughout the week. Winner will be announced on Friday 28th June.

HOUSE COLOURS TEAM EVENT!

What a fantastic effort by our Student Leaders who pulled together a wonderful House Team event on Wednesday afternoon. Lots of fun was had by all! Students enjoyed dressing up in their House colours, singing their chants, and participating in activities such as Red Light, Green Light, Tunnel Ball and Pass the Parcel, with their teams. It was fabulous to see our House and JSC leaders show off their leadership skills and to see other year 5/6 students step up to support their peers in running the event. We look forward to more multi-age collaborative events in the near future.
