CONGRATULATIONS NIKO
The 8STEM Math class spent some time calculating the heights of various structures around the school in the past week using trigonometry.
The students used a inclinometer constructed from paper and a trundle a wheel to measure angle of elevation/depression, they then used this information in addition with the trigonometric ratios such and sine, cosine and tangent to calculate the heights of trees, lampposts and buildings.
