Parents and Friends

Welcome Back to Term 2!

Welcome back everyone! We hope you all had a fantastic break and are feeling rejuvenated and ready to dive into the excitement of Term 2. As we gear up for the busy weeks ahead, there's plenty to look forward to, from the onset of the Winter sports season to our beloved legendary barbeques.

It's time to dust off those jerseys and cheer on our teams as they hit the field, track, or court for another thrilling season of competition. Whether you're a player, a supporter, or simply enjoy the camaraderie of sports events, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

As always, our P&F Association is here to ensure that the school community thrives, and we couldn't do it without your support. Keep an eye out for volunteer opportunities popping up on this page throughout the term. Your involvement makes all the difference, whether it's flipping sausages at the barbeque or helping at a Supporter's Day.

Speaking of which, this week marks the Year 5 and 6 Supporters' Day, and we’re calling on all enthusiastic parents and carers to lend a hand. Sign up via the following link: Supporter’s Day Barbeques.

But that's not all; mark your calendars for the highlight of the term, the famous Blue, Black, and Gold Dinner! While sales have now closed, we're eagerly anticipating a night of celebration and camaraderie on Friday 17 May at Le Montage. It promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, good food, and great company.

During the break, the Year 12 cohort mums took some well-deserved time away and headed to Bowral. Close to 70 mothers made the trip down for lunch, where they ate great food, had plenty of laughs and enjoyed a whole lot of reminiscing about their years at SPC.

After lunch, while some headed home, those that stayed the night were not shy to show their trivia skills, plenty of dance moves and a love of 80’s hits. Thanks to all our beautiful mums for making it such a memorable day and night, but a special thanks must go to Sandra Chidiac and Natalie Wahbe for putting the weekend together, a tradition started together in 2023.
