WELCOME BACK!

Dear Parents and Students

Welcome back to Forte as we begin our second week of Term 2 this week. Hope you had a wonderful relaxing term break.

This term will be a 11 week term for lessons that fall on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and the weekend  ending on Sunday 30 June.  

It will however be a 10 week term for lessons that fall on Mondays and Thursdays as we are closed today, 25 April for ANZAC Day and Monday, 10 June (King's Birthday).

We are looking forward to hosting a couple of Forte Lounge mini recitals  this term. The first one will be on Sunday, 5 May and the second one is planned for  Sunday, 23 June.  

The Forte Lounge event is a perfect opportunity for our more advanced students (for piano  - Creative Keys 2 and above) to share their love of music by performing a solo, a duet or take a part in an ensemble piece to a small audience in an informal and cozy setting. I encourage students sitting the AMEB exams in May to participate as a rehearsal to the music exam. Do have a chat with your child's teacher.  Spots are limited to 12 performers.  If you would like to register your child for the Forte Lounge mini recital on 5 May, please do so no later than 28 April 2024.

We hope that our students will continue to grow and find joy in learning music as well as develop a lifelong habit in playing music!  Here is to a more musical Term 2 !!
