The holidays are a great way to relax and unwind, enjoying lazy mornings and spending time with family. It is even better when exploring our beautiful state.

Recently, my family and I went to the Barossa for a 3-night stay. There is something amazing about the country air. We hired a little house nestled in the hills and were surrounded by grazing cows, aromatic gum trees and what seemed to be an endless view.

There was a rope swing tied to a thick branch and you knew by looking at it that for many years many children had enjoyed it. The simplicity of life, surrounded by nature's beauty has a way of rejuvenating the spirit. The rope swing, a timeless symbol of childhood joy, added an extra layer of charm to our stay. It's amazing how such simple pleasures can create lasting memories.

For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. (Isaiah 55:12)

Luckily living in this beautiful state of South Australia, the vast openness carries your voice far and wide. I did not 'break forth into singing', I left that to the "moosical" melodies from the cows! I did, however, relax and unwind, enjoyed many lazy mornings and spending time with the family.
