Foundation students have practiced their daily greetings in Mandarin. They sang the greeting songs in Chinese https://youtu.be/96ZzzwPdNhM.

Year One and Two's have practiced their greetings and learnt how to tell people that ‘I am a boy’ and ‘I am a girl’ in Mandarin. They sang and danced to the Mandarin song Let’s Dance, Boys and Girls https://youtu.be/LErkeOo7BhM.

Year Three above students have learned how to ask and tell names in Mandarin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhmjwL3Xpt0.  They read, wrote and greeted a panda doll in Chinese and explored some interesting facts about this Chinese national animal.

In Mandarin class, we learnt how to say Happy Mother’s Day/mǔ qīnjié kuài le! 母 亲 节 快 乐! and I love You, Mum/wǒ ài nǐ, mā ma! 我 爱 你, 妈 妈! in Chinese. We made special Mother’s day cardsand origami love hearts to celebrate this special day.
