ANZAC Day Celebration
Last week in Mentor class all students and staff paid tribute to the heroes who have served our nations with bravery and selflessness. This assembly provided our students with an opportunity to reflect on the values of mateship, resilience, and remembrance that lie at the heart of the ANZAC spirit.
The assembly reminded us of the profound significance of this day in Australian and New Zealand history. It was a time to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of our servicemen and women, past and present.
Mabo House would like to acknowledge the work or Miss Georgia Riley and Miss Gabi Phelan for their support of our Student Leaders who ran the assembly that allowed us to come together as a school community to honour the ANZAC legacy and to ensure that the sacrifices of our servicemen and women are never forgotten.
Lest we forget.
