Jesus is Risen - Celebrating Easter
I hope that you all enjoyed a very special Easter celebration with your family and friends. It is a time of wonder and awe. Easter is not about death but about life. It is about the wonderful gift God gave us through his son Jesus. The darkness of his death is over and the light is shining and he has risen from the dead. Our Savior is risen and Heaven is opened. This Easter, I hope you experienced the joy and hope that Easter brings. When we are feeling sad, lost or alone it helps to remember that the dawn always follows the darkness, spring follows winter, and Easter always follows Good Friday.
There is always hope. Easter is about hope. It is about the little buds on the trees, that bloom after a long winter, overcoming all odds to emerge from the cold, hard soil. Easter is about life, about hope and love. Easter is a time to celebrate all that is positive in our lives.
