Introducing the CSPS Tech Team!

This year, we have a student Tech Team made up of Year 5 & 6 students with an interest in digital technology. These students help out with technology problems, including when Chromebooks don’t work properly or teachers can’t turn on their screens! 

Starting Monday...CSPS Code Club

The Tech Team would like to invite interested students from Year 3 - 6 to join our new CSPS Code Club. Tech team leaders (with support from Ms Patel) will teach their peers how to use Scratch to code and create their own computer games. Code Club will meet on Monday lunchtimes in the STEM space. CodeClub Australia is an official organisation that provides support for schools, teachers, volunteers and others to run coding activities for children in primary and secondary schools. We have now registered our school club which gives us access to a huge array of projects, competitions and other opportunities for our students to enhance their digital technology skills.

Science Talent Search

Many students applied to join this year’s Science Talent Search and Ms Patel really enjoyed reading all the wonderful ideas for STEM projects. All successful applicants have now been notified and Ms Patel will meet with students next week to discuss the next steps in their work.
