Headspace Craigieburn
headspace Craigieburn is a free, confidential national youth mental health foundation providing early intervention health and wellbeing support for young people aged 12 to 25. Led by Orygen, the centre helps young people navigate life's challenges, offering a safe environment to discuss mental health, physical health, and work/study pathways.
You don't need a GP referral to access Headspace's services. Simple drop in to their office or call to book an appointment.
Address: Suite 1, Level 1, Central Suites, Craigieburn Central, 340 Craigieburn Road, Craigieburn VIC 3064 (use the lift near Anytime Fitness)
Phone: 03 8338 0919
OnPsych
What is OnPsych?
They are a Medicare bulk billed psychology service and can also use NDIS funding. All you need is a mental health care plan from your GP. Currently OnPsych offers teleheath sessions outside of school hours. Due to the privacy nature of psychology sessions, we cannot facilitate teleheath sessions at school.
So, if you have been considering engaging with a psychologist or a counsellor for your child, now might be the right time to take that first step.
All you need to do is take the forms attached to your GP, book a longer appointment with them, complete the forms and send them directly to OnPsych or return them to the school and we can send them to OnPsych on your behalf.
If you require a hard copy of the forms, feel free to drop in to the school office to collect one.
