If an item of clothing is found with a student's name on it, it will be returned to them.
Early Pick up
Dear Parents,
We have a large number of parents arriving early to pick up students on a daily basis and up to this time we have accommodated these requests and called students to the office over the speaker system. This is causing major disruption and interruption to all classes during important learning time. Please note from Wednesday 16th August there will be new procedures for those parents requesting to take their children out of class before the dismissal time of 3.10pm.There will be no announcements for students to come to the office during learning time. Parents will need to complete an early dismissal form providing details for the request. Office staff will provide a note to parents to take to the classroom to collect their child. Parents will not be permitted to take students unless they have attended the front office and completed the appropriate forms. We appreciate your support.
Please read the attached information.
Parking
A reminder to all our families that Hume City Council has parking restrictions in the streets surrounding our school. Please adhere to the parking signage and obey the council regulations at all times. Hume City Council does regular patrols at school pick up and drop off times and you will be fined if you are parked illegally.
We realise there are many parents/ carers trying to pick up many students at the same time and we ask that you be patient and considerate of others and perhaps think about parking a bit further away and walking if you are unable to find a legal parking space which is safe for all concerned. Our students' safety is our priority at all times. We also ask that you respect out school neighbours by not parking across their driveways as this is illegal and dangerous, especially if there is an urgent need for that home owner to gain access to their property or leave their property.
The sporting facility at the rear of our school is closer to being completed now that restrictions have eased and there will be parking availability in the grounds when that is open.
Staff Carpark
A reminder that the school driveway and staff carpark are not for parents/carers.
It is extremely unsafe to illegally park in these areas as it blocks access for emergency vehicles and/or staff needing to urgently leave the carpark.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THIS AREA
