Care for Learning
This term, our school value focus is 'CARE for your learning'. Some of the ways we can show we care for our learning is by:
- listening carefully
- giving our best effort
- taking all equipment needed for our learning
- using toilet before school and in breaks
- following game rules
- being on time to class in the morning, after recess and after lunch
Revamped School Behaviour Matrix
Recently we have refreshed the design of our School Behaviour Matrix to make it more engaging and visually appealing for students. While the look has been updated, our school values and behaviour expectations remain exactly the same. The new matrix is included below for your reference.
Classroom Weekly Behaviour Focus
This term, each classroom will introduce a Weekly Behaviour Focus. Each week teachers will select one behaviour expectation from the School Behaviour Matrix that best supports the needs of their class.
As students demonstrate the focus behaviour and receive positive reinforcement throughout the week, they will work together towards a class reward, such as a game or a fun activity. This approach celebrates positive behaviour, reinforces our school expectations and helps students continue to develop positive learning habits.
An example of a Weekly Behaviour Focus is included below.
