Physical Education 

Students have had a fantastic term in Physical Education. Our Prep to Year 2 students spent five weeks developing their bouncing skills before moving on to learning and practising the forehand strike practicing holding the racket, balancing the ball, throwing and catching as well as working in partners and in a team. 

Students in Years 3 to 6 focused on cricket, building their batting, bowling, and fielding skills, before transitioning into a tennis unit where they have been developing their striking techniques and game play. It has been wonderful to see students demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork, and persistence while developing their fundamental movement skills.

Congratulations to all students who participated in our recent Cross Country event on the 22nd of May. We were incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and sportsmanship displayed by everyone throughout the day. Whether students were aiming for a personal best or simply challenging themselves to complete the course, each participant should be commended for their positive attitude and resilience. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and families for supporting this successful event.
