St Brigid's College is excited to invite alumni from the Classes of 2016, 2006, 1996, 1986 and 1976 to your Milestone Reunion on Saturday 17 October 2026.The celebration will take place in the afternoon at the College. Where are they now?
Earlier this year, St Brigid’s College alumni, Emily Severin (Class of 2018) was awarded the Leading Practitioner Award at the Victorian Homelessness Achievement Awards for her work in homelessness and mental health services.Since graduating Year 12, Emily completed a Bachelor of Social Work and built her career across a range of support and case management roles. She now works as a Sole Practitioner with CatholicCare,
Victoria’s Housing Mental Health Pathways Program, supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness as they transition from acute mental health care into stable housing.Reflecting on her role,
Emily shares:“I support people exiting the Grampians Health adult acute ward to obtain and maintain tenancy through community outreach and connection to supports including alcohol and other drug services, family violence, disability and financial supports. I’m now two years into this role and adore the opportunity to contribute to positive outcomes in people’s lives, it fuels me and fulfils me.”Driven by a strong passion for helping others, Emily’s work continues to create positive and lasting outcomes for individuals facing complex challenges.Well done Emily!
