De-stress Day

De‑Stress Day a Big Success!

Our recent De‑Stress Day on Tuesday 19th May was an outstanding success, bringing together the senior school community for a much‑needed break filled with food, games and live music.

Students embraced the opportunity to relax and recharge during Connect and Period 3, with many making the most of the fantastic range of activities on offer. From the delicious options at The Yumpling Truck and Little Dutch Pancakes, to the vibrant atmosphere created by live music at the front of the PAC, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Throughout the morning, students were actively involved in a variety of experiences such a creative stations including face painting, peaceful drawing and origami, engaging trivia games, which brought out plenty of competitive spirit and the much‑anticipated Tug‑of‑War battles, featuring Year 11 vs Year 12, followed by the always-entertaining teachers’ round.

A big congratulations must go to our Year 11 Captains – Gabriel, Illi, Taheea and Georgia – whose leadership and organisation ensured the day ran smoothly from start to finish. And a big thanks to all the teachers who participated either as a supervisor or in the fun activities.

Thank you to everyone involved in making De‑Stress Day such a special occasion. It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of taking time to pause, have fun, and support one another.
