School Council Vacancies

The Northcote High School Council has up to three vacancies that the Council is looking to fill through a casual appointment process. 

Two vacancies are for community members, while a third is a parent member vacancy.  

Expressions of Interests are requested from members of NHS community interested in joining, particularly from individuals who have the following skills and experience profiles: 

• Firstly, we need a future Treasurer to take over from the incumbent in 2027 - we are interested in EOIs from those with finance or accounting experience (and ideally qualifications). They would serve on the School Council through 2026 prior to taking over the role. 
• Secondly, we would benefit from someone with strong Community Engagement experience on Council to work with our Working Groups Friends of Northcote - and to assist with our School Strategic Plan process in 2027. Chairing and governance experience will also be valuable. 

• The third is professional qualifications and experience in the health, safety, wellbeing and engagement of young people.
