Winners NHS Drawing Competition

The Art Captains are proud to present the winners of the NHS Drawing Competition. 

To celebrate the school’s centenary year, the prompt was to draw something inspired by 100 years ago or 100 years into the future. We decided to choose a winner for both! 

“My artwork Is my vision of what 100 years in the future could look like. It shows people holding yellow orbs, and the city is an idea of a sustainable and happy future."

“This drawing was inspired from Victorian style ball rooms and since those were now 100+ years ago I decided to draw that, considering I've always liked fashion in every age.”

We want your old classroom stationery and equipment

Northcote High School Art Club are embarking on an art project to Commemorate NHS centenary year. It will rely on donations from Northcote High School families of old classroom student stationery items such as pens, pencils, set squares, compasses, pencil cases, etc.

You may have planned to clean out that bottom drawer. Well now is your opportunity!
