Specialists - STEM (Mr Brown)

Term 3 has been a hub of technological activity with students working on all things coding. We focus on following instructions and solving problems using block coding. All students have created games like geometry dash, kaleidoscope draw (one of my favourites), Scratch Jnr stories, making shapes with the Sphero, making it rain chickens in Minecraft and much, much more.

I would like to introduce our new equipment that has arrived to become part of our STEM technology program. This is what was bought using the grant that was given to STEM from the PFA.

Here is Indi. 

Indi is from the same family as Sphero. This is going to add to our learning about technology, following and giving instructions, block coding and problem solving.

Also I am looking for some donations of any old or blank CD's or DVD's that people no longer want. These are going to be useful for students during our Design Thinking Unit during Term 4.
