Yarram Eisteddfod Success!

On Thursday the 14th August, LPS choir travelled to Yarram to perform at the Eisteddfod. They sang two songs - Ferry Me Across the Water and the Kazoo Concerto. They performed against other primary choirs and came out on top! As well as their singing, their behaviour and audience etiquette was second to none! We are so proud of their achievement! 

Huge congratulations to our choir and the talented Jen Holm for all their hard work! A special thank you to Laura Gibb who accompanied our choir on the piano and gives her time during rehearsals each week.

Some other LPS students also performed in individual sections over the weekend. 

• Taya Botha performed in 10 Years and Under Vocal Solo section and came in first place. She also performed in a piano section coming in second place. 
• Isla Holm played in a number of solo and duet piano sections coming in second place in two of these sections.
• Olivia White played in the 11 and under novice piano section, coming in second place.
