Mixing Uniform
There has been an increase in mixing of uniforms throughout Prep. We understand the weather makes uniform planning quite tricky, however, if your child is wearing tights, please ensure they are in full winter uniform. If your child is wearing a long sleeve shirt, the expectation is they wear long pants. If you need a reminder of winter/summer uniform please email your class teacher for clarification.
Reminders:
Tying up hair
Any students with hair longer than shoulder length must have it tied back when at school. We ask that you please support your child with this if it applies to them.
Mixing uniform
There has been an increase in mixing of uniforms throughout Year 1. We understand the weather makes uniform planning quite tricky, however, if your child is wearing tights, please ensure they are in full winter uniform. If your child is wearing a long sleeve shirt, the expectation is they wear long pants.
Reminders:
Homework
Thank you for your continued support in instilling a strong homework routine for your child. The expectation is 1 lesson of Mathseeds completed a week (Sunday - Saturday). Please remember that Sunday starts the new week.
The other homework expectation is reading 4 nights for 15 minutes. This is to be written in your child's diary and signed. Diaries should come to school every day.
Devices
Our Year 2 students really enjoy engaging with our programs (Maths Invaders and Reading Eggspress). When your child forgets their iPad or it is on a low percentage/flat, this restricts their engagement. Thank you for your continued support in creating a home routine with your child which involves charging their iPad and placing it in their bag.

Wednesday 26th November: Pyrography Invisit (Craft Power)
Reminders:
Parent Volunteers:
The Year 3 students will be participating in a pyrography in-visit on Wednesday 26th November. Each class will have approximately 2 hours to create their Viking inspired design on wood. Due to the hands-on nature of the craft, we are seeking parent volunteers to assist on the day. If you would like to volunteer to support, please email your child's class teacher.
Reminders:
Reading
The Year 4's have been doing a fantastic job working towards their Accelerated Reader targets. At this point in the term, they should be about 80% towards their points target. Please check in with your child about how they are progressing.

Year 6 Student Scrapbook
As part of Year 6 graduation, each student will create a special scrapbook to celebrate their journey. Please start collecting photos of key moments in your child’s life that they can bring into school to include in their scrapbooks, such as:
Photos can be printed at home and brought to school, emailed to your child's teacher to print at school, or your child can share them with their teacher on their class Microsoft Teams page
