Diocesan Athletics

Congratulations to all students who represented the Southern Region team at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival in Dubbo on Friday 22nd August. The weather was perfect and matched the positive spirit of all competitors throughout the day. Students participated across a wide range of track and field events, including sprints, long-distance races, high jump, long jump, shot put, and discus. Every student gave their best effort, showing determination, sportsmanship, and persistence.

We also had a number of students represent our school in the relays, with both teams working together seamlessly and showing great teamwork and encouragement for one another. Many students achieved personal bests in their events, and we are thrilled to announce that 3 students have now qualified to represent the Bathurst Diocese in Newcastle on the 12th of September.  Congratulations to Polly Bailey, Oscar Nunn and Julius Simmons.

We are extremely proud of all our athletes for their dedication and enthusiasm, and we wish those moving on to the next level the very best of luck!

Congratulations Hunter!

Hunter travelled to Melbourne to compete at the AFBJJ National Championships and came away with Gold in his Gi division and Silver in his No-Gi division.

He is now a National Champion, which is such a special achievement. Hunter is very proud of himself and has brought his medals along to school to share in the excitement.
