Robotics Incursion – DreamCity

This week, Grade 3 had a super exciting DreamCity Robotics Incursion! The students stepped into the shoes of engineers for the day and absolutely loved it.

They became robotic engineers, building and programming robots, and worked together to problem-solve and test their creations. They were then transported into virtual reality, exploring new worlds and experiencing technology in such a fun way. The virtual reality was definitely a favourite amongst the cohort! To top it off, they became electronic engineers, experimenting with circuits and gadgets to see how electricity really works.

The room was buzzing with curiosity, teamwork, and lots of creative thinking. Many students said they felt like “real engineers” for the day – and we couldn’t agree more! It was such a fantastic way to spark their love of STEM, with great connections to various areas of our curriculum. We can’t wait to build on this learning back in the classroom.
