Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Each term we have new students joining us. This term I would like to welcome Seb, Scarlett and Joaquin to our school. It has been lovely seeing you in classrooms getting to know your teacher and making new friends. I trust that you are learning well and that you will enjoy some of the events we have organised for this term.

Book Packs

Thank you to the families who have caught up with payments for their children’s book pack and school resources. It would be very helpful if the remainder of the families paid their $140 as soon as possible. If you need any support with this payment, please call us and we can work out a payment plan.

Vietnamese Parents Afternoon Tea

Our Vietnamese Afternoon Tea is always filled with lots of chatter and fun and Wednesday was no different. Mr. Fielding, our Assistant Principal joined us for this session to explain our school’s NAPLAN results.  We had a great discussion on various aspects of the data and parents were proud to see how well our students performed. 

Next term we will meet again to talk about what is happening in Term 4.

Upcoming Book Week & Events

Next week is Book Week, and we have some exciting events planned for our students. We’ll be celebrating the joy of reading with various activities throughout the week including daily guest readers. I will be reading to the Year 3 and 4 students at lunchtime on Thursday. 

I know that the highlight of the week is always the Book Parade, and we encourage all parents to join us in supporting our students. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our children’s love of books and creativity.
