Milo Fridays - Back in Term 3!
Parents' Club are kindly running 'Milo Fridays' each fortnight at lunchtime!
Disposable cups will be available, however we encourage students to bring their own reusable cups.

Bunnings BBQ - Volunteers Required
Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser 31st August 2025
As part of our yearly fundraising activities, Parents' Club will be hosting another Bunnings BBQ at the Millers Junction store on Sunday 31st August 2025. This is a great opportunity for the Parents' Club to generate fundraising revenue for our school and ongoing school events.
Shifts are in 2hr 15min periods; the shift will include cooking, serving food, and handling payment. We will need help from 8am until 5pm. The sausage sizzle will run from 9am-4pm, and the first and last shifts will include set up and pack up respectively. Please sign up at the link below.

School Disco
Let’s get this party started!
BOP TILL YOU DROP kids DJ experts will be here pumping out all of your favourite tunes for our NLPS school disco fundraiser on Friday 29th August in the Gym!
Tickets $7 per child
Tickets available for purchase through CompassTix from 3pm Thursday 14th to 3pm Thursday 28th August.

THERE WILL BE NO TICKET SALES AT THE EVENT so get your tickets early!
- Junior Disco (F - 2 Students) - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
- Senior Disco (Yr 3 - 6 Students) - 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Please purchase a ticket for each child attending their respective disco (junior or senior).
A reminder this event is for current NLPS students only. Younger or older siblings/past students are unable to attend.
As this is a Parents’ Club organised event, teaching staff will not be in attendance.
Parents/carers are asked to drop off and pick up their children at the School Gym at their designated disco times. Please follow the volunteer instructions and signage on the night.
Parents will not be allowed inside the Gym unless they have signed up on the volunteer link below as an official Parents’ Club volunteer. Parent volunteers will be assisting on the night with ticketing, snack sales, and general supervision of the children in the disco, and the chill room for those students needing a quiet space.

Please note all volunteers must have a valid Working with Children Check and have completed the Child Safe & OH&S inductions.
A friendly reminder regarding images taken by the school community, in accordance with our school policy (the full policy can be here ).
NLPS endeavours to respect the privacy of all members of our school community and formally requests that parents/carers, students and invited guests do not photograph, film or record school performances, assemblies, sporting events and other school-approved activities, besides images of their own children. If you do happen to capture another NLPS student/s in your images, NLPS requests that parents/carers, students and invited guests who have taken the image do not publish the images in any form, including on social media, without the prior consent of persons whose children also appear in the images.

Financial Hardship - Families who may be experiencing financial hardship at this time are asked to please contact the front office to secure your child's ticket as Parent's Club would like to ensure all students have an opportunity to attend the disco.
Disco Snacks (CASH ONLY)
Students can purchase snacks during the event, so send your children with change if you wish (cash only).

- BYO water bottles, as drinks will not be available for purchase.
Party Box Donations
Do you have any party decorations or old photo booth props such as balloons, tinsel streamers or backdrops that you don't need anymore?
Recycle them for the School Disco!
Do you have some spare M3 hooks or blue tack? There will be a box at the school office taking donations.

Our much-anticipated school fete is happening on Friday 14th November 2025 and we need your help to make it a fantastic success!
A big thank you to those who have already signed up to volunteer, your support is greatly appreciated. However, we're still looking for more wonderful helpers to fill various time slots throughout the day. By sharing the workload, everyone can lend a hand and still have plenty of time to enjoy the fun and festivities.
Please mark the date in your calendar, and if you're able to assist, we'd love to hear from you. Together, we can make this fete an unforgettable event for our school community!

2025 PC Meeting Dates
Parents' Club meet bi-monthly to discuss ideas and plan events. Meetings are held in the MPR at 7pm, unless stated otherwise.
Zoom links to the meetings are also sent out via Compass, for parents who are keen to attend but cannot make it in person.

Don't have spare time but still want to help?
We understand that not everyone is able to offer their time to help at school events but there are other ways you could help. Parents' Club are seeking feedback from families who may have the capacity to support the school and Parents' Club in other ways through their work, hobbies, skills, or connections. For example, discounts, vouchers, donations of products for raffles or prizes, venue hire, and more!
