Languge Other Than English

Our Foundation students have been having so much fun learning colours in Vietnamese! They’ve been singing songs, creating colourful crafts, and going on exciting “colour journeys” around the classroom. The children love spotting colours in their world and practising their new words. We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and confidence! 🌈

The JLC students have been busy turning learning into fun! They’ve been singing, dancing, and hunting for classroom objects while discovering new Vietnamese words. Laughter and excitement filled the room as they proudly showed what they found. We also explored the four seasons, from sunny days and blooming flowers to falling leaves and chilly winters. The children brought the seasons to life with their bright and creative crafts – what a colourful display of learning! 🍂☀️🌸❄️

Our MLC students have been on a fashion-filled adventure in Vietnamese class! They’ve been learning clothing words while designing their own creative outfits, full of colour, style, and imagination. To bring the learning to life, students used their clothing items in a lively auction game and a thrilling round of bingo. The room was buzzing with laughter, excitement, and lots of Vietnamese words in action! 👕👗🎉

Our SLC students have been diving into the delicious world of Vietnamese cuisine! They’ve been learning to recognise and say the names of a variety of dishes, from tasty noodles to yummy rice plates. Soon, the students will be creating their own menus and using them in a role play to practise asking for and ordering food in Vietnamese. It will be like bringing a Vietnamese restaurant right into the classroom! 🍜🥢
