Triennial Review Update

We are excited to share that our Triennial School Review has been successfully completed. Using the feedback and insights from this process, we are now finalising our new School Strategic Plan (SSP), which will guide our focus on helping every child thrive—both academically and in their wellbeing.

The review was overwhelmingly positive and recognised the dedication and impact of our whole school community. We were especially proud to receive the highest commendations in:

  • Student Wellbeing
  • Leadership
  • Support and Resources

The review also highlighted many strengths we see every day at Springvale Rise, including:

  • Strong leadership from our middle leaders and Professional Learning Teams (PLTs)
  • Improved learning and wellbeing outcomes
  • A strong focus on wellbeing and inclusion for all learners
  • Calm, supportive classrooms where students can succeed
  • Consistent, high-quality teaching across all year levels

We are incredibly proud of these achievements and grateful for the role our families play in supporting this success.

Celebrating NAPLAN Growth

Our recent NAPLAN results show very encouraging progress. In particular, our Year 3 to Year 5 data highlights that Springvale Rise students are achieving stronger growth than students in similar schools, our local network, and even the state average. This is a wonderful reflection of the hard work of our students, staff and families working together.

Swimming

This week marked the second week of our swimming program at the Springvale Campus, and what a joy it has been! From Foundation through to Grade 6, students had a fantastic time at the Dandenong Oasis Pool while building their confidence in the water, learning important safety skills, and practising how to help keep others safe.

Our Foundation students were especially impressive as they bravely dived under the water to collect objects and used pool toys to ‘rescue’ their friends. Their excitement and pride in their achievements was contagious—it was wonderful to see so many happy faces and to celebrate the progress every child has made.
