Welcome Back to Term 3!

I hope you all enjoyed a lovely break spending time with your loved ones.

We have another busy term ahead in the sports department. Stage 3 will be kicking off the term with Interschool Sport in Week 2. Students will be participating in an Oztag non competitive day. These initiatives are excellent opportunities to be involved in fun, non competitive sporting activities with other Sydney Catholic Schools in our local area.

Some students in Stage 2 and 3 will be attending the Bob McCarthy cup next week. This is a Rugby League Gala Day. We wish these students the best of luck.

In Week 3, 24 students from St Aidan’s will be travelling to Homebush Athletics Track to compete in the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 1 Championships. We are so proud of these students' achievements so far and wish them the best of luck. We know they will represent St Aidan’s with pride and determination.

Students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be participating in the NSW Touch Football Gala Day on Tuesday 6 August. The primary purpose of the Gala Day event is to allow for schools and students to participate in a non-competitive event, encouraging the development of Touch Football. The emphasis of this event is on participation and fun; there is a place on the field for everyone. If you have not already done so please provide consent via compass to this compulsory event.

We are looking forward to another busy and active term!
