Dear Parents,
I write to let you know of some sad news. Last Friday night, a Year 11 student from De La Salle College Caringbah, Michael Papanikitas, sadly passed away. He had been unwell for some time and now he has at peace and at rest with his Heavenly Father.
During this difficult time, please keep the Papanikitas family in your prayers and thoughts. Let us also keep the whole De La Salle community in our thoughts and prayers on Monday as they prepare to say goodbye to one of their students.
Eternal rest grant unto Michael, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace, Amen
Thank You!
A big thank you to Nicola Ainsworth and Anna Giovenco who co-ordinated our Olympic themed Green and Gold Day last week. It was a huge success with lots of yummy treats and goodies to purchase to make the day even more fun. Thank you also to the Kinder and Year 1 parents who donated cupcakes, ice blocks and other items. The cookies from “Treats by Ash” were delicious and a big hit! We raised over $1200 to purchase some updated sporting equipment and games for the playground. Thank you again.
Parent Rep Meeting
Please join us on Thursday 29th August at 2:15pm for our Parent Rep Meeting in the library. Come along and get involved in contributing to the planning of our fundraising activities for the rest of the year and looking ahead to make plans for next year.
