Road Safety

D.McCammond - Deputy Principal

We have noticed that there is an increasing number of students crossing on the corner of Sandringham Street near Gate 3.

This is the road directly opposite gate 3. It is too dangerous to cross here.

This is an incredibly dangerous place in which to cross the road as vehicles coming around the corner do not have time to stop should a child be in the middle of the road. It is much safer to walk the short distance to the pedestrian crossing where students and their families can safely cross under the supervision of an executive member of staff. If an accident were to happen it would have a traumatic impact on the whole school.

We ask that parents use the pedestrian crossing at all times, both setting an example and reinforcing safe road use to your children.
