School Captains
Hey everyone, welcome back to our School Captain’s report!
The past few weeks were really busy and exciting. As School Captains we had the opportunity to meet the Hon. Ben Carroll, the Minisiter for Education, and take him for a tour around the school. Unfortunately, Harry was unwell last Friday, so Astin from 5AJ filled in for him.
As Mrs Barletta talked about in assembly last week, we also had Danny Pearson visit our school to see our new toilets. We all love the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which are still in an amazing condition.
Moreover, last Friday was Green and Gold Day, where we had the chance to show our support for the Australian Olympic team, who have done an outstanding job at representing Australia and showing the amazing athletes that they are. Did you know that the youngest person attending the 2024 Paris Olympic Games is skateboarder Zheng Haohao, who is just 11 years and 11 months old. Not only is she the youngest Olympian at these Games, but she is set to become the People’s Republic of China’s youngest ever Olympian. It all makes for a remarkable the games which will take place in the following weeks.
Finally, we hope everyone stays safe, happy and healthy and enjoys the good weather and sunshine. The year has gone by so fast!!
We look forward to seeing everyone back at school next week!
Your School Captains,
Saanvi and Harry
