Health and Wellbeing
The Year Fives have had a fun and engaging start to Term Three. Students have identified the important places they have lived and the communities they have been a part of and they examined how their identities have been shaped by these experiences. Students also created a cultural mind map, highlighting the important parts of their family’s background and traditions.
Students have also engaged in evidence-based warm ups, games and activities with a variety of equipment that enabled students to learn through movement and mindfulness. Students worked as a whole class, in partners or small groups to help develop their social awareness.
