An exciting project will soon commence for our Year 5 students. They will exchange letters online with Year 5 students from an elementary (primary) school in Nebraska (USA). This will be a fantastic opportunity to foster cross-cultural understanding, develop writing skills, build global friendships, and extend learning beyond our school walls.
For parents and carers of our Year 5 students, more details will soon be posted on Seesaw, and I look forward to sharing more about this project with the whole school community in upcoming newsletters.
Here are the details of the upcoming STEM lunchtime clubs...
The activities on offer will include... LEGO, building with wooden blocks, weaving, and drawing. The ever-so-popular bug specimens will be on display again. Some students have also been using this time to show me digital projects they have been working on.
There are always requests for me to photograph creations and share them on the STEM Blog. Click here to view.
