This Week At OOPS

Yesterday our Victorian State School Spectacular Mass Choir students attended our first Melbourne Town Hall rehearsal. There were over a thousand beautiful singing voices! 

We are very proud of the way our students conducted themselves as we travelled to and from rehearsal via public transport. Thank you to parent helpers Silvia and Jodi. 

We can’t wait to do it all again for our second rehearsal later this term!

In Maths, the Year 1s and 2s have been looking at division through sharing. In this activity, students created fruit trees and used counters to help them divide them evenly with different groups of people. The students have enjoyed this introduction into division and have found using counters and other objects helpful in supporting their learning.
