Around the College
Exciting news!
St Anne’s College Kialla is very excited to receive $3.6 million in Victorian Government grant funding which will be utilised for further upgrades to our college campus. The funding will be used for the next stage of the College’s Masterplan which will include seven general learning areas, learning collaboration zone, staff workspaces and associated areas.
St Anne’s College is among 65 low-fee Catholic and independent schools to receive a share in $450 million from the Victorian Government’s Building Fund for Non-Government Schools for building and upgrades.
Non-government schools play an important role in Victoria's education system, with over one-third of Victorian students studying at Catholic or independent schools. In addition to this, St Anne’s College Kialla is an important part of the Greater Shepparton area, servicing students in Kialla which is experiencing rapid population growth.
Celebrating the Olympics with a touch of green and gold
In honour of the recent Olympic Games and to support our Aussie athletes, students in SOW and SOI wore a touch of green and gold today. Students have been incorporating the Olympics into their learning while the games have been taking place and students took the opportunity to celebrate the games which wrap up on this Sunday on 11 August.
The staff all looked the part, dressing up as athletes from various disciplines including power walkers, BMX riders, skateboarders. What a fun way to celebrate the Olympics!
