What's Been Happening in Year 1

The Year ones visited ACMI. This excursion allowed students to delve deeper into our inquiry unit and learn about being inventive. Students had the opportunity to engage in innovation and creativity. They had the opportunity to think about character, art and design, creative processes and innovation. Students also discovered how inventors, innovators and artists have used light and shadow, time and movement, colour and sound over time to tell stories and celebrate the wonder of the moving image.

BOOK FAIR 

WEDNESDAY 21st - MONDAY 26th AUGUST

4 DAYS ONLY!!!!

Students will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books during class time on the dates listed below, or before school (8:30 - 8:45am) and after school (3:20 - 3:45pm). 

A range of books, including popular titles, classics, and new releases will be available. Novelty items such as posters, pencils, pens & erasers will also be on sale. 

If your child is purchasing during school hours, they will need cash to purchase a book or novelty item. 

Cash & card will be accepted when buying an item with an adult. 

Parents/carers are welcome before and after school!
